Peter Abilla writes about Ethnography, which is means watching/recording/studying what people do and how it applies to Product Design.  At the end of the article he reprints a paper by his former boss.  Both Peter's and his boss writing on the subject are excellent.  For people who want to develop better products will need to do Ethnography at some point.  If you want a quick intro to what it is, it's benefits and how to do it this article is a good place to start.

Aside, Peter's blog contains excellent writing on his experiences apply lean and agile to problems he encountered in his work life at Amazon and other places, highly recommended.
